| Abstract: | The whole fine powder of Bhringaraja (C. alba) was clinically tried in 50 children suffering from jaundice. Results were analyzed following the subjective and objective parameters. Observations showed that there was complete clinical and biochemical recovery in 40 cases at the end of treatment and there were 10 dropouts. Bhringaraja therapy was found to be beneficial in the treatment of jaundice in children. [The most common cause of jaundice was viral hepatitis.]. |
